Dream Finders Homes Launches Tampa Division, to Begin Sales at Seaire in Parrish in Late January
Presales to launch in other Tampa master-planned communities in early 2024
TAMPA, FLA. (Jan. 9, 2024) --- Dream Finders Homes (NYSE: DFH), the Jacksonville-based national homebuilder ranked as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies, is expanding its footprint into the Tampa area. The homebuilder will kick off its new division in late January with sales in the first phase at Seaire, the area’s newest master-planned lagoon community south of Tampa in Parrish. It is the first homebuilder to announce sales in the new community.
Selected by Metro Development Group as one of four preferred builders at the 1,555-acre community, Dream Finders Homes will begin construction on model homes later this week. It will offer over 300 homesites at Seaire and is the only homebuilder in the master-planned community with 60-foot single-family lots fronting the 4.5-acre blue lagoon. Most of its homesites will have water views or border on conservation areas.
Ninety-nine of the company’s homesites will be single-family homes. The remaining 200-plus sites will be constructed as townhomes designed within four-plex buildings as part of the community’s development. The homebuilder’s townhome plans range in size from about 1,400 to 2,000 square feet of living area.
Three models of Dream Finders Homes’ most popular townhome designs are slated for completion and ready for touring in April-May. The Manatee, Osprey and Coral offer three and four bedrooms with up to two-and-a-half bathrooms. Models of single-family homes – with three-to-five bedrooms ranging in size from 2,600 square feet of living area to 3,500 square feet – are expected to be completed Summer 2024.
“As a national homebuilder with a presence in several high-growth and emerging markets, the Tampa region was an ideal market for us to further expand our footprint in the Southeastern U.S.,” said Joe Sabella, Tampa division president for Dream Finders Homes. “To kick off our investment in Tampa, we purchased the largest and most scenic lots within Seaire to showcase our award-winning home designs. We look forward to bringing our most popular homes to accentuate the large lot sizes and desirable lot locations along the lagoon and conservation areas.”
Seaire is located on the south side of Moccasin Wallow Road about 1.5 miles east of Interstate 75 in one of Tampa’s fastest-growing areas. Convenience to I-75 provides residents with easy access to a growing number of restaurants and retail shopping in the nearby Sarasota-Bradenton areas and St. Petersburg. Tampa – an employment hub for a myriad of industries, world-class cultural attractions and sporting events – is less than a 40-minute drive. Pricing and more information will be available when sales begin in late January.
The Tampa Division of Dream Finders Homes has more communities in the pipeline for 2024. In the first quarter, it plans to unveil plans for entry into two more highly-amenitized master- planned communities in the region.
